HOLLAND, MI, October 25, 2006 – The Holland Group, Inc. (Holland) has announced the launch of the PH-30RP41 pintle hook. It replaces Holland’s PH-30 and PH-T-60-AOL-8 models and incorporates the latest technologies from the leader in coupling technology.
The PH-30RP41 is a versatile rigid mount pintle hook designed for over-the-road and off-road towing. It comes equipped with Holland’s new FastLatch™, the industry’s easiest to operate one-handed latch. The FastLatch™ replaces Holland’s original latch and is equipped with an automatic secondary lock, eliminating the need for chains or cotter pins. The PH-30RP41 also features stronger steel, resulting in improved durability, and Holland’s patented NoLube™ technology which eliminates lubrication. These technological advances introduced in the PH-30RP41 have become the foundation for Holland pintle hook production. These advancements will be worked into every model of Holland pintle hook over the next few years.
The PH-30RP41 is 20 percent lighter than the PH-30 and PH-T-60-AOL-8 models. It is designed for Medium Duty service, accommodating a 6,000 pound Maximum Vertical Load and 30,000 Gross Trailer Weight. Primary applications include Utilities, Landscaping, Light Construction, Military and Ground Support Equipment.
