HOLLAND, MI – The Holland Group, Inc. (Holland) has announced that Darryl Rabon has assumed the new position of Holland Group Director of Employee Relations. He will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for improving employee relations and enhancing a positive employer-employee relationship with all union and non-union production and salaried staff. He will also advise all Holland Human Resources staff on the proper disposition of employee relations issues to insure fair and consistent practices throughout the company. Rabon’s other major responsibilities include development, communication and implementation of labor relations strategies for all locations. He will work full-time from his office at the Muskegon Facility.
Prior to joining Holland over four years ago, Rabon gained over 10 years of human resources experience at Burlington Industries and Piedmont Natural Gas Co. He has served as Human Resources Manager at Holland’s Denmark, South Carolina facility, as well as interim Human Resources Manager for the Holland Muskegon facility for a period of time. Following the close of the Denmark facility, Rabon was appointed Holland Group / Holland USA Staff Human Resources Manager, a position he has held for the last two years. Recently, Rabon headed the Human Resources Transition team, which played a key role in helping to integrate the Monroe, North Carolina Simplex product line with the Holland Group. He earned his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina and holds a certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), gained through the Human Resources Certification Institute.
