CB400 Air Suspension/Slider System with Swing Align™ To Rollout Early 2004 From The Holland Group

Holland, MI - The Holland Group, Inc., a global supplier of innovative vehicle coupling, lift and suspension system products to the heavy duty transportation industry, announced plans to rollout the CB400 Air Suspension/Slider System with Swing Align™ for the North American Van and Reefer market. Swing Align is a new axle alignment feature that provides the quickest and most convenient axle alignment process in the industry. The new design also incorporates a highly engineered cast trailing arm beam with new patent pending bushing technology. These product advancements build on Holland’s prior successes in their durable, high alloy slider sub-frames with Qwik Release® pin pull feature, the industry’s most efficient pin pull system.

“The Holland Group has leveraged the shared technologies of the former Holland Hitch, Neway and Binkley divisions to create some of the most exciting new product solutions to come along in years,” said Pat McGurk, Director of Holland’s Trailer Suspension Systems Product Group. “Although the CB400 looks similar to existing technology, it is truly a new unique approach for the market. The Swing-Align feature, for example, is the industry’s fastest, most convenient axle alignment mechanism; and the CB400’s new, exclusive bushing geometry significantly extends pivot connection bushing life that will lower maintenance and operating costs. Holland’s extensive casting experience, developed through years of fifth-wheel coupler manufacturing, was leveraged to incorporate a new cast trailing arm beam into the CB400. Initial market response has been very positive.”

The CB400 Air Suspension/Slider System with Swing-Align™ will be available during the first quarter of 2004 and will be distributed to trailer OEMs in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
